This is the console of the Fisher Memorial 4/36 Mighty WurliTzer Theatre Pipe Organ installed at the Senate Theatre in Detroit, Michigan.

It is one of the few four manual Fox Special consoles still in its original home. It is lovingly maintained by the Detroit Theatre Organ Society, a proud chapter of the ATOS.

The photo was supplied by the DTOS. Framing and buttonization were done in Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7. Text overlays were done in MGI Photo Suite.

Thanks very much for looking and commenting, Sir Kort. I only wish I had been the one to snag that shot. It is a rather old photo from the DTOS collection.

Thats a beautiful sight! :) I went to a silent movie festival a few years back at the Paramount theater in Seattle, WA and they had the original organ they used to use 75 years ago, being played along with the movies. That was a treat. Love this.
