Spruce Flat Falls at Tremont 1

Not far from the Townsend Wye in the direction of Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Alcoa Ridge Runners went to see Spruce Flat Falls near the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont. The falls are located on Buckeye Trail, a spur off the Lumber Ridge Trail which begins at a parking area near the institute main building. Travis catches this view of the falls during the hike in the early fall of 2013.
