Vintage 1972 Nikon F2 Photomic 35mm SLR manual analogue camera with meter finder, split prism screen, and Nikkor 55mm f1.2 lens. This mighty shooter is extremely heavy and sturdy. It has been in the deep woods. It has weathered the rain and snow. Over 10,000 slides have been exposed by this beast since I aquired it in 1985. In my humble opinion, not a finer 35mm instrument has ever been made. I call it the Newshound.

Also visable is the Nikkor 24mm f2.8 lens to the right with a cap below, and to the right of that, a large lens hood for the 55mm and up focal length optics in my collection. You can also see a copy of the Smokies newspaper and my favourite pillow with the slogen of my life's beloved outdoor passion, gardening. At one time, I had four Nikons and eight lenses. This is all that remains. Not visable here are the 200mm f4 lens and the Sunpack potato masher flash, a number of filters, and the PK2 macro extention tube.
