First Snow of 2014 6

Northerly view of Wright Road passing in front of el Casa del Laquita as the first snow of the new year lingers for a second day. This would be another record setting day for low temps on this date. The high was 19F. The low was 12F. Humidity around 55% and 5MPH winds made it feel like -2F. Like a fine sunny summer day on the Martian equator. There was about an inch of hard frozen snow, with black ice in the shadows and icicles at the precipices. During the night, the sky was again so clear that astronomy was wonderful.
